Glug ! Glug ! Glug !

Canada seems a lifetime away ! Well we arrived home to a flooded house, initially it didn't seem too bad, we cleaned and mopped and cleaned and mopped for days. Won't bore you with too many details, the short of it is no cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumbledryer, sofas all trashed 😕 This is the downside of living next to the River Severn. The upside is we have insurance, well we do, when they pull their finger out !

As well as all the cleaning, I have done 1 craft fair, to be honest it wasn't the best. There were quite a few people but no one was buying. Possibly they need to be at the beginning or end of the month, pay day ! Who knows ! On a positive note I handed out quite a few business cards to people interested in commissions 🙂

I also got chance to perfect my display after comandeering the biggest table in the hall, after a few weeks of trial and error I am now pleased with how it looks. PHEW !!

So the next craft fair that I was booked in to do has been cancelled, leaving just one more before Christmas, which is a shame but gave me an idea. A one day only pop up shopping experience which I am holding in the showroom of my main place of work. In the space of two nights and the help of a couple of friends and family the event was organised. Six sellers, drink and mince pie on arrival and nibbles all under one small roof. Not as big as the craft fairs but a good alternative (fingers crossed) All set for 7th December, I will let you know how it goes.

Anyway that's all for now, I'm off to paint two chihuahuas (Mac & Harrison) for Brigitte in Canada as well as a little glass painting (pics to follow)

Thanks once again, I am grateful for your interest 💋
